Opticon Benelux is a trading company specialized in the sale and repairs of systems for performing remote visual inspections, founded in 1991. In 2003 the name was changed to Opticon Benelux Naarden after which the companies Instrurent Benelux B.V. and in 2025 Opticon Röntgen B.V. were added.

Founder
The start of Opticon Benelux was realized in an attic room in Huizen. Gerard Jungerling had a passion for endoscopy. He made sure that 30 years later the company stands like a house. In his search for new products, inspection cameras for the sewer sector and industry came his way. This Gerard expanded into a portfolio of high-quality systems. Later Gerard delved into the world of X-ray systems and built up a large customer base in this field.
After 30 years of happily building the company, Gerard has passed the baton to Rob Dikkerboom in 2022. Rob used to own a company specializing in the construction industry and was about to make the switch to a smaller company in a different industry. Gerard is enjoying his retirement now. Opticon Benelux is ready for the future and we want you to be there!
